FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: foldable box comprises a workpiece bent to form an upper surface, a lower surface and four side walls. Blank in unbent configuration comprises several defined sections located in first, second, third, fourth and fifth column and in first, second and third rows, each column having a length, and each row having a width. First column comprises upper valve in first row, central section in second row and bottom valve in third row. First column forms first edge, which extends along upper valve, central section and lower valve and which is located on first end of workpiece. Fifth column comprises an upper valve in the first row, a central section in the second row and a lower valve in the third row. Fifth column forms the second edge, which extends along the upper valve, the central section and the lower valve of the fifth column and which is located on the second end of the workpiece opposite to the first edge. First edge and second edge are adjacent to each other when workpiece is bent into box, so that first edge and second edge make a seam, which extends through one of the side walls and includes a first seam portion disposed between the first and fifth column top valves, the second section of the seam between the central sections of the first and the fifth columns, and the third section of the seam between the lower valves of the first and fifth columns. Second section of the seam extends through one of the side walls of the box. First section of the seam forms part of the upper surface. Third section of the seam forms part of the lower surface. Strip piece is applied on the first column and the fifth column through the second section of the seam and through at least a part of each of the first and third sections of the seam.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides fast assembly of box, which has individual size for placement of packaged article.
