FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for hydrodesulphurisation of an olefinic gasoline fraction containing sulphur, according to which said gasoline fraction is brought into contact, hydrogen and a regenerated catalyst which does not contain an organic compound introduced after its regeneration, said method being carried out at temperature of 200 °C to 400 °C, total pressure from 1 MPa to 3 MPa, volumetric hourly rate, defined as volumetric flow rate of raw material, related to volume of catalyst, from 1 to 10 h-1, and volume ratio of hydrogen/gasoline raw material from 100 Nl/l to 1200 Nl/l, wherein said regenerated catalyst is derived from at least partially spent catalyst from a process for hydrodesulphurisation of an olefinic gasoline fraction containing sulphur to obtain a regenerated catalyst, wherein no organic compound is added to said regenerated catalyst. Said regenerated catalyst contains at least one group VIII metal, at least one group VIB metal and an oxide substrate, wherein the catalyst includes residual carbon in content of 0.1 wt.% to 1.9 wt.% of the total weight of the regenerated catalyst, and sulphur in amount of 0.1 wt.% to 4.9 wt.% of the total weight of the regenerated catalyst.
EFFECT: improved catalytic activity and selectivity in hydrodesulphurisation when using catalysts obtained from spent hydrotreating catalysts.
