FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. It involves pachymetry of cornea, epithelial debridement of cornea, saturation of lens and de-epithelised cornea of patient with aqueous solution containing 0.1 % riboflavin mononucleotide. Temporary thickening of the patient's cornea by placing the lens on the de-epithelised cornea and ultraviolet irradiation of the cornea at wave length 370 nm with total energy of 5.4 J/cm2 is performed. Epithelial debridement of the cornea is performed in 8.5 mm zone, saturation of the lens and de-epithelised cornea is carried out with a solution additionally containing 20 % dextran, for thickening the cornea of the patient for a period of exposure to 450 mcm and covering of the epithelial debridement zone, a biolens is prepared using a femtosecond laser from an autologous donor corneal tissue with diameter of 8.5 mm and thickness of 100 to 150 mcm is used. Corneal ultraviolet irradiation is carried out in Accelerated mode capacity of 9 mW/cm2 for 10 minutes. Objective of the invention is to expand the indications for performing ultrasound corneal cross-linking in keratoconus in patients with corneal thickness less than 400 mcm.
EFFECT: method provides higher therapeutic effect and protection of deep layers of cornea due to thickening of the cornea on the entire surface to 450 mcm, excluding damage to the endothelial layer of the cornea, enabling to perform the procedure of cross-linking with thickness of the cornea less than 400 mcm.
