SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tobacco industry, specifically to power supply unit of aerosol device. Power supply unit of aerosol device includes power supply, made with possibility to be discharged to load for formation of aerosol from aerosol source, controller, made with possibility to control power supply source, a housing configured to accommodate a power supply and a controller, a plurality of electrostatic capacitive sensors. Controller is configured to diagnose, by output signals of a plurality of electrostatic capacitive sensors, leakage of liquid inside the housing and / or liquid ingress into the housing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of aerosol device power supply unit diagnostics quality.
