SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a supply unit for an aerosol inhalation device, a method for diagnosing a supply source of an aerosol inhalation device and an aerosol inhalation device supply diagnostics diagnostic program. Result is achieved by that the aerosol inhalation supply unit includes: a power supply configured to be discharged to a load for generating aerosol from the aerosol generation source; and controller configured to control charge and discharge of power supply. Controller is configured to operate in charging mode to control charging of power supply, first mode, different from charging mode, and a second mode different from the charging mode and the first mode, and can perform power supply source diagnosis processes in each of the first and second modes.

EFFECT: possibility of diagnosing a power supply with high accuracy to increase safety of a user of an aerosol inhalation device.
