FITTING STOP AND METHOD OF REPLACING THEREOF WITH FITTING STOP INSTALLED ON PLATFORM Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B61D3/20 B60P7/13 B60S5/00 

FIELD: rail vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and concerns equipment for fastening and transportation of containers or other suitable cargoes on railway platforms. Method of replacing mounted on platform fitting stop, which includes support (1) in form of shaped rod element, attached to plate (5) welded to platform frame (6), consists in preliminary manufacture of a new fitting with a ledge, one part of which adjoins the lower part of the support body, has a lateral surface of cone-shaped shape, and other - lower part - has cylindrical side surface, diameter D1 of which is greater than transverse dimensions of rod shaped element of stop (1). Angle between line, which is continuation of tapered side surface of protrusion upper part towards cylindrical surface, and cylindrical side surface of lower part of projection is 45°. From the plate of the old fitting stop, the shaped core element is cut off, and in the plate throughout its thickness the through hole D2 is drilled and hole D2 is drilled to depth h to obtain hole D3 for formation of horizontally oriented step (7) between holes D2 and D3. In the hole D3 the manufactured new fitting stop is installed to support of its protrusion to step (7), then the new fitting is rigidly fixed to the plate of the old fitting stop by their scalding from above, filling the welding space with the space between the cone-shaped lateral surface of the projection of the new fitting stop and the drilled hole D3. Preferably, diameter D1 is making 118–120 mm. Preferably, the depth h of the hole D3 is made corresponding to the height of the projection of the fitting stop.

EFFECT: invention extends operational capabilities and improves repairability.
