SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is an ultrasonic system and a method for detecting lung slip based on a time sequence of ultrasonic data frames of a first region of interest. First region of interest includes a pleural border of the lung. Subarea domain identifier (410) is configured to identify, for each of the sub-region ultrasound data frames, the scanned region of the ultrasonic data frame, subregion comprises at least part of pleural border; light sliding detector (420) is configured to obtain a parametric map for a subregion based on at least two frames of ultrasonic data of the time sequence, parametric values of the parametric map indicate the degree of tissue movement between at least two ultrasonic frames; wherein the light slider detector is further configured to extract subarea data from said at least two ultrasound data frames and obtain a parametric map based on the extracted data.
EFFECT: using the given group of inventions enables to obtain and present quantitative and/or qualitative information to provide understanding and/or interpretation of ultrasonic data from the pulmonary area.
