FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used in construction of temporary motor roads, take-off and landing sites for helicopters, parking facilities and other equipment, fastening slopes during construction of foundation structures, caponiers and shelters for military equipment and personnel, as well as for strengthening the shores and protecting crests of dams and dikes from washing. Flexible mats for fast-erected coatings from interconnected separate blocks are delivered to the installation place in a coiled form - in a roll. Prism elements located on lower surface of each block fix flexible mat on backfilling or ground. High strength of blocks is achieved due to their reinforcement by transverse and longitudinal flexible metal ropes.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of weight of flexible mat, increased speed of erection of coating, reduced costs for delivery and installation of coating from connected blocks, improved adhesion with soil or artificial base on which mats are laid, as well as higher reliability and strength of connection of blocks due to use of strong metal ropes as ropes.
