SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology, orthopedics and rheumatology, and can be used to treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis and hip joint lesions. Access to the hip joint is performed. Then the capsule is partially excised, after osteotomy of the femoral neck, the head is removed. Excision of the synovium is performed. Further, using an electric coagulator, heat treatment is performed along the perimeter of the acetabulum and osteotomy of the proximal femur. Then the acetabulum and the medullary canal of the femur are treated and the components of the endoprosthesis are installed, the wound is sutured in layers.

EFFECT: method provides a decrease in the activity of rheumatoid arthritis and postoperative complications of hip arthroplasty due to the maximum possible excision of the synovial membrane of the hip joint, heat treatment with an electric coagulator along the perimeter of the joint capsule attachment to the edge of the acetabulum and along the perimeter of the joint capsule attachment to the proximal femur.
