SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field and specifically to a liquid or semi-solid composition in the form of a dispersion or suspension of particles of amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) for use in pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical compositions for local or parenteral administration, comprising: a plurality of ACC particles containing ACC and at least one agent stabilizing ACC in amorphous form, and a non-aqueous liquid carrier, in which the ACC particles are insoluble and uniformly dispersed or suspended, wherein said composition has viscosity of more than 40 centipoise (cP) at 25 °C and contains less than 20 wt % water of total weight of composition; as well as to pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical compositions, a method of treating or relieving local inflammation or skin involvement and a method for preparing said composition.
