SUBSTANCE: use: for calibration of electroacoustic transducer with large ratio of longitudinal dimension to transverse. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the sensitivity of the calibrated converter is determined from the ratio of output voltages of the calibrated and reference converters when the transducers are exposed to a cylindrical sound wave. Sound wave with a cylindrical front is synthesized by amplitude and phase-weighted summation of spherical wave emitter signals which are successively set in the nodes of the linear array.
EFFECT: technical result is higher calibration accuracy of converter with high ratio of longitudinal dimension to transverse ratio.
