FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of powders for additive production from metallurgy and machine building wastes in form of slurries. Method includes cleaning said sludge from lubricating-cooling liquid by washing with an organic solvent and distilled water, followed by centrifugation and drying in an inert atmosphere at temperature of 100°C to 150°C, plasma-coated to obtain fraction of 10-150 mcm, plasma spheroidization of the recovered fraction with thermal plasma in a chamber at pressure of 0.88 to 1 atm in a stream of an inert gas at a flow rate of 1 to 6 liters per minute, in which hydrogen is introduced as reducing gas in amount of 1 to 4 liters per minute. Consumption of recovered fraction during plasma spheroidisation ranges from 0.5 to 3 kg/h. Powder obtained after plasma spheroidisation is washed in an ultrasonic bath.
EFFECT: obtaining high-quality powders for additive production from wastes.
