FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spherical powder of tungsten-based pseudoalloy. Method includes granulating powder of nanosized composite consisting of metal particles with dimensions of less than 100 nm and obtained by hydrogen reduction in thermal plasma of mixture of powders of tungsten oxides with powder of metal selected from a group comprising Ni, Fe, Co, Cu and Ag, or powders of metal oxides selected from said group, and then obtained powder granules are spheroidized by melting in a stream of thermal plasma. Produced powder contains 3–50 wt % of a binder of a metal selected from a group comprising Ni, Fe, Co, Cu and Ag, or an alloy of metals selected from said group, wherein powder consists of spherical particles with size of 20–70 mcm, having submicron structure with uniformly distributed in it grains of tungsten with size not exceeding 1 mcm.
EFFECT: proposed is tungsten-based pseudoalloy and its production method.
