SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining micropowders of metals and alloys, which can be used for the manufacture of products using additive technologies (AT, 3D printing). A method for regenerating spent metal powders of additive technologies in thermal plasma includes classifying the spent powder with separation of the target fraction, processing the target fraction in a thermal plasma flow based on argon, helium or a mixture thereof, while the target fraction obtained after classification is subjected to additional classification to obtain at least two fractions with particle sizes that differ within each fraction by no more than 2-2.5 times, which are separately processed in a thermal plasma flow and then mixed.

EFFECT: reducing the content of impurities of nanoparticles in regenerated micropowders of metals and alloys to ensure obtaining a spherical particle shape.
