FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, namely to the processing of granules of a ceramic-metal composite material based on molybdenum. The method includes grinding the feedstock, separating the obtained granules into fractions and carrying out the process of their spheroidization by introducing them into the plasma jet. The grinding of the feedstock is carried out by mechanical alloying. After mechanical alloying, the granules are sintered in vacuum by heating them at a rate of 10 to 25°C/min to a temperature of 1550 to 1800°C and holding at this temperature for at least 40 minutes and crushing the sintered granules.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of obtaining spheroidized powders based on molybdenum with powder fluidity at a fractional composition of 10-100 microns up to values of no more than 25 seconds.
