FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used for production of thermoregulatory coatings of space purpose by means of micro-arc oxidation, in particular, for formation on articles from aluminum and aluminum alloys of differential thermal control coatings, firmly attached to the base and resistant to heat shocks, having improved operational characteristics and active life period used for onboard equipment units, optoelectronic devices elements, Earth remote sensing equipment. Method includes successive treatment in two electrolytes by micro-arc oxidation in anode-cathode mode with frequency of 50 Hz with equality of anode and cathode currents, at that, first, an initial mask is applied on the surface of the substrate, white areas of the coating are formed in the first electrolyte, then the original mask is removed, and a mask inversed by the initial mask is applied on the white areas, after which black areas of the coating are formed in the second electrolyte, and then the inverse mask is removed.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability and quality of coatings due to formation on items from aluminum and aluminum alloys of heat-and-impact differential thermal-regulating black-and-white coatings of space intended for use with base and resistant to thermal shocks, providing for maintenance in the body of temperature required for stable operation of elements of radio electronic onboard equipment of spacecrafts with a long period of active existence.
