FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used for formation on products of the multifunctional thermoregulating optical coatings, which are firmly adhered to the base, having improved heat-protective functions and used for units of onboard equipment and assemblies of space vehicles. Method involves successive treatment in two electrolytes by microarc oxidation in anode-cathode mode with frequency of 50 Hz with equality of anode and cathode currents, wherein process is carried out first in aqueous solution of electrolyte containing alkali 1–3 g/l, liquid glass 5–70 ml/l, and then in aqueous solution of electrolyte containing alkali of 1–7 g/l, liquid glass 5–70 ml/l, vanadate of alkali metal or ammonium 3–20 g/l.
EFFECT: formation of coatings, mainly two-layered, which are strongly adhered to the base, where the inner white layer performs the function of increasing the adhesion strength to the base of the outer optically black coating layer with high absorption coefficient of solar radiation and coefficient of thermal radiation or heat-shielding function or is an independent optically white coating with low absorption coefficient of solar radiation and high coefficient of thermal radiation.
