FIELD: microrobotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to create thermal control devices for components and blocks of on-board equipment of spacecraft. The thermomechanical actuator is made in the form of a plate of layered composite material, which is a substrate made of a deformable aluminium alloy, strengthened by hardening and subsequent aging, with black and white coatings. The manufacturing method involves treating the substrate in two electrolytes using microarc oxidation in the anodic-cathode mode. A protective polyimide film is applied to one side of the substrate, and a black coating is formed on the back side of the substrate in the first electrolyte, then the polyimide film is removed from the first side of the substrate, a polyimide film is applied to the formed black coating, and a white coating is formed on the side of the substrate freed from the polyimide film in the second electrolyte.
EFFECT: creation of an actuator that operates in a wide temperature range, as well as under conditions of exposure of the equipment to elemental oxygen, increasing manufacturability and reliability, resistance to cyclic loads, increasing reproducibility of the manufacturing process.
