FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to copper-based dispersion-strengthened composite materials for welding equipment. Disclosed is a mixture for obtaining a dispersed-hardened composite material in a high-energy mill, containing, wt. %: aluminium - 0.2–0.6, carbon - 0.05–0.1, copper oxide - 0.9–2.6, aluminium hydroxide - 0.6–1.5, copper is the rest.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at production of composite material from disclosed charge without reduction of its electric and thermal conductivity, having high hardness and service life at temperatures higher than 600 °C.
