SUBSTANCE: invention refers to drug delivery systems. Drive assembly for drug delivery system includes plunger element, configured to engage and displace the plug inside the container, wherein the plunger member has a first position and a second position axially spaced from the first position, the lead screw is configured to move the plunger element from the first position to the second position, and the biasing member is configured to displace the lead screw in the rotation direction, wherein rotary movement of lead screw is configured to move plunger element from first position to second position.
EFFECT: disclosed is drive assembly for drug delivery system.
