Drug delivery system for drug injection comprises a drive assembly for the drug delivery system, which includes a plunger element. Plunger element is configured to engage and move the plug inside the container. Plunger element has a first position and a second position axially spaced from the first position. Lead screw is configured to move the plunger element from the first position to the second position. Displacing element is made with possibility of displacement of the lead screw in the direction of rotation. Rotary movement of the lead screw is configured to move the plunger element from the first position to the second position.

EFFECT: invention can be used to deliver fluid into patient’s body by injection.
