FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a meter for density and level of electrolyte solution in an accumulator, and can be used in operation of storage batteries, for example, in conditions of Far North. Electrolyte solution density and level meter comprises rigidly connected through an insulator of at least three conductors of various lengths, immersed into the accumulator electrolyte solution, and the device sensitive to the electrolyte density contains electrodes matched with the immersion depth meter conductors, voltage source of rectangular pulses 0.01–3 V with frequency 0.01–100 Hz, switchboard connecting voltage source with conductor electrodes and voltage and current meters in power supply circuit. Automation of measurements makes it possible to control state of solution of electrolyte in accumulator along vehicle movement.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is improvement of meter operation speed and reliability of measurement results.
