FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology and can be used for assessment of efficiency of reclamation carried out in areas of agricultural and nature protection purposes. In the method of assessing the quality of soil-vegetal cover restoration in reclaimed areas, chemical analysis of soil samples is carried out with determination of agrochemical properties, chemical analysis of soil samples collected at the recultivated area and soil samples collected at the background section is carried out with determination of content of polluting chemicals in them, and then total value of soil chemical contamination is determined. Geobotanical indices are determined. Depending on the value of agrochemical and geobotanical indices, as well as the total chemical contamination of soil, the recultivated area is assigned a certain number of points. Best result is assigned the maximum score, the worst - the minimum score. Coefficient of significance is introduced for each of the indicators. Thereafter, for the recultivated area the final integral assessment is determined, by the value of which the quality of the conducted reclamation measures is determined. Total score is summed up from the sum of points assigned to each indicator.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy and simplifies determination of integral assessment of reclamated area restoration.
