FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, can be used in ferrous metallurgy for utilization (combustion) of secondary gases of metallurgical cycle at preparation of concentrates by agglomeration, namely in hearths of agglomeration machines of conveyor type. Low-pressure tubular-slotted burner with expanded control range for secondary metallurgical cycle gases combustion includes rectangular housing equipped with secondary air supply branch pipes, inside which there is a tubular gas header with gas supply nozzles and gas outlet nozzles located from below in longitudinal rows and radially directed to its central axis, and located around it and coaxial to it tubular air header with primary air feed pipes and air discharge nozzles installed from below with longitudinal rows and radially directed to its central axis, located around gas outlet nozzles and coaxially with them. Secondary air supply branch pipes are installed in amount of at least one branch pipe for each meter of burner body length, gas supply pipes and primary air supply connection pipes are installed in the number of at least one branch pipe for each meter of gas and air head lengths respectively, and gas outlet and air outlet nozzles are located from below at least three longitudinal rows with an opening angle between each other 30°≤α≤45°.

EFFECT: improved operational reliability of the burner, wider control ranges by the air flow rate factor and thermal power due to stabilization of secondary gases combustion in metallurgical cycle at reduction of fuel and oxidizer pressure, ensuring continuity of heat flow of combustion products to create uniform temperature field of gas atmosphere along the whole width of the hearth, smooth and stable heating of upper layer of charge, reliable agglomeration process.
