FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in hearths of sintering and roasting machines for uniform firing and heating of mixture over entire width of traveling-grate sintering machine. Proposed gas burner assembly has rectangular housing in slot-like space of which gas feed and air feed pipes are arranged, one nested in the other, over entire length of housing and coaxially to housing. Gas-feed pipe is provided with gas outlet nozzles radially directed to its axis which are uniformly spaced in several rows of lower part of pipe over its entire length at equal angles of opening relative to each other. Air feed pipe is provided with radially pointed air outlet holes which are arranged at uniform p[itch in longitudinal rows between rows of gas outlet nozzles and in rows gas outlet nozzles between them. Longitudinal rows of air outlet holes coinciding with rows of gas outlet nozzles are furnished additionally with air outlet nozzles in which gas outlet nozzles with cavities are arranged symmetrically relative to air outlet nozzles, cavity being equal in value to ring clearance between nozzles. Air outlet nozzles proper are provided with projection relative to outer surface of air feed pipe equal to size of its outer diameter. At least three air feed branch pipes for secondary air are located on housing of gas burner assembly. EFFECT: improved operation reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
