SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymers. Discloses ethylene polymer comprising ethylene/1-butene copolymer, ethylene/1-hexene, ethylene/1-octene or a combination thereof and having a density in the range of from 0.89 to 0.93 g/cm3; ratio of weight-average molecular weight to number-average molecular weight (Mw/Mn) in range from 3 to 6.5; z-average molecular weight (Mz) in range from 200,000 to 650,000 g/mol; Carro-Yashid (CY-a) parameter at 190 °C from 0.2 to 0.4; number of short-chain branches (SCB) per 1,000 of all carbon atoms of polymer at Mz, which is higher than at Mn; and following polymer fractions in ATREF test: from 0.1 to 8 wt. % of polymer eluted at temperature below 40 °C; more than 45 wt. % of polymer eluted at temperature between 40 and 76 °C; less than 36 wt. % of polymer eluted at temperature between 76 and 86 °C; and from 1 to 26 wt. % of polymer eluted at temperature higher than 86 °C.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining polymers with improved processability, shear thinning and melt strength.
