FIELD: ethylene homopolymers.

SUBSTANCE: 2 embodiments of an ethylene homopolymer are proposed which have a density less than or equal to 0.925 g/cm3, a number of short chain branches (SCBs) ranging from 3 to 15 SCBs per 1000 carbon atoms in total, wherein at least 50% of the SCBs are methyl branches according to the first embodiment and have a density in the range from 0.90 g/cm3 to 0.925 g/cm3, the number of long chain branches (LCB) per 1000 carbon atoms in total is in the range from 0.3 to 2, the Mw/Mn ratio is in range from 2 to 100 according to the second embodiment, products containing the proposed ethylene homopolymers, and the method of polymerization of ethylene are also proposed.

EFFECT: obtaining linear low-density polyethylene, containing no or extremely small amounts of comonomer, and also having a wide molecular weight distribution.
