FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for producing helium from mixtures of non-condensed and inert gases and can be used in gas industry. Invention relates to an apparatus for concentrating and purifying helium, comprising a helium pre-concentration unit, equipped with a helium-containing gas feed line and a helium concentrate discharge line with a recuperative heat exchanger, as well as a membrane unit, a compressor, a hydrogen purification unit and a short-cycle adsorption unit. Helium pre-concentration unit is equipped with a discharge line of the mixture of non-condensed and inert gases, and after the recuperative heat exchanger, a helium concentrate outlet line is provided with a compressor and a hydrogen purification unit, equipped with an oxygen-containing gas feed line and comprising a catalyst for catalytic oxidation of hydrogen, a cooler, a separator, adsorption after drying unit and recuperative heat exchanger of hydrogen purification unit, wherein the latter is connected to reactor by helium concentrate supply lines and output of oxidation products, on which there is a refrigerator and a separator, equipped with a water discharge line and a separation gas discharge line with an adsorption finish drying unit equipped with a regeneration gas discharge line. Cooler is connected to discharge line of mixture of non-condensed and inert gases by its part supplying line as coolant, and with adsorption pre-drying unit - supply line of part of heated mixture as purging gas, in addition, after adsorption finish drying unit on separation line of separation gas there is a membrane unit, connected to the helium pre-concentration unit by the retentate supply line equipped with the recuperative heat exchanger, and the short-cycle adsorption unit, equipped with cleaned helium discharge line and connected by regeneration gas supply line to inlet to membrane unit.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of installation, elimination of neon accumulation in cycle and provision of favourable temperature mode of membrane unit operation.
