FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for producing helium from mixtures of non-condensed and inert gases and can be used in gas industry. Helium concentration and purification unit includes a helium pre-concentration unit with a non-condensed and inert gas discharge line, a membrane unit, a heat exchanger, a compressor, a hydrogen purification unit and a short-cycle adsorption unit. After heat exchanger on helium concentrate output line there is refrigerator, compressor and a hydrogen purification unit equipped with an oxygen-containing gas feed line and comprising a catalytic hydrogen oxidation reactor, a recuperative heat exchanger, a separator and an adsorption after-drying unit. Recuperative heat exchanger is connected to the reactor by the helium concentrate supply line and the oxidation products line and with the adsorption after-drying unit with the separation gas discharge line. After the post-drying unit there is a membrane unit connected to the pre-concentration unit of helium by the retentate supply line, and a short-cycle adsorption unit equipped with a purified helium discharge line and connected by a regeneration gas supply line to the membrane unit inlet.
EFFECT: simplified installation and avoided accumulation of neon in the cycle.
