FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for cutting of solid tubular article on pipes, which performs continuous translational movement. Device comprises at least a frame, a fixed relative to the machine, movable unit, made with possibility of translational movement relative to the bed and bearing cutting head, made with possibility of its being brought into linear reciprocating movement and into rotation, the first mechanism for bringing said cutting head into reciprocal motion, second mechanism to bring said cutting head into rotation and third mechanism to activate cutting start and end. In said device said mechanisms are stationary relative to bed of device.
EFFECT: as a result, reduced number and weight of installed in device components, which in turn provides reduced inertia of device.
