SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for e-vaping. E-vaping device comprising a power supply configured to supply electric power, cartridge holder comprising at least first and second connectors electrically connected to power supply, and at least first and second cartridges, detachably connected to separate corresponding connectors of first and second connectors, so that first and second cartridges are electrically connected to disconnect from power supply, wherein direct connection of first connector to second cartridge is limited and direct connection of second connector to first cartridge is limited, wherein the first and second cartridges comprise at least one atomizer unit and at least one evaporator unit, wherein the evaporator unit is configured to generate steam by heating the evaporated composition, wherein the atomizer unit is configured to generate an aerosol by applying a mechanical force to the composition for aerosol formation.

EFFECT: providing a steam having at least two different particle size distributions, as a result, the gaseous dispersion can be selected to provide the desired aroma, therapeutic compositions or both.
