SUBSTANCE: terminal receives first configuration information transmitted by network device. Terminal determines first time domain resource and granularity of first time interval corresponding to first time area resource based on first configuration information. Terminal searches for a downlink control channel on a first time area resource with taking granularity of the first time segment per cycle, wherein the first configuration information includes, at least one of initial position, end position and length in time domain of first time area resource, and the granularity of the first time interval is expressed in such units as at least one symbol, or a given number of symbols, or a slot, or a microslot.

EFFECT: simplifying the PDCCH search process and reducing power consumption of the terminal when searching for a PDCCH.
