SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biology, ecology, medicine. Method of preparing a sample for gas chromatographic determination of organochlorine compounds in a biomaterial involves collecting samples from internal organs and tissues of a multicellular animal, homogenized and the obtained homogenised sample is placed in acetone and after intense shaking n-hexane is added at a ratio of sample weight to g: acetone in cm3: n-hexane in cm3, equal to 2:4:3, closing the dishes with a paraffin film and leaving it to be extracted on a laboratory shaker at a rate of not more than 1 Hz for 25 minutes, after which the liquid phase is decanted into a separating funnel, the contents of which are washed twice with portions of n-hexane of 2-3 cm3, after which 50 cm3 of 1% KCl or NaCl solution is added thereto, shaken and settled until separation of phases, after which the water-acetone layer is removed, followed by complete evaporation of n-hexane, for purifying the obtained lipophilic extract from co-active substances in the dish containing it, adding 20-25 cm3 of n-hexane, thoroughly stirring and introducing 10 cm3 of H2SO4 with the conc., content is re-mixed and left for 24 hours, then acid is separated, and n-hexane layer is transferred into separation funnel, then lipophilic extract is washed in n-hexane in portion of 20 cm3 of 1% sodium bicarbonate, and then portions of bidistilled water capacity of 20-30 cm3 up to neutral reaction of universal indicator paper, the resulting solution was filtered through anhydrous sodium sulphate and evaporation is carried out complete n-hexane.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the "output" of organochloride compounds into the concentrate of the n-hexane extract due to higher completeness of its extraction from the material of the samples and elimination of multi-stage purification by concentrated sulfuric acid.
