SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. In the hybrid vehicle control method, a normal driving mode is set, in which the battery is charged from the generator by means of an engine or by means of recuperative braking by an electric motor; motion mode with recuperation, in which the battery is charged by means of an engine or by means of a regenerative braking force, greater than the regenerative braking force in normal mode and the noiseless mode, in which charging is stopped by using engine power. When the normal mode is set, the silent mode setting is not allowed. When the motion mode with recuperation is set, the silent mode setting is allowed.
EFFECT: reduced noise level.
