FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: hybrid vehicle control device for the drive system with an engine, electric motor/generator, the first and the second clutch contains the engine startup control unit, using the motor/generator. The engine startup control unit disengages the first clutch and engages the second clutch during motion mode by inertia/recuperation by means of electric motor/generator, when driving in the electric vehicle mode, when the engine start request is generated based on the required driving force increase. The second clutch control section completely disengages the second clutch. The engine startup control section gives instructions to the first clutch to engage or not engage in a slippage state and controls the engine startup by performing the engine turning operation, and fuel injection and air and fuel ignition as well.
EFFECT: suppression of jerk, when starting the engine.
