FIELD: satellite communication.
SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions is intended for adjustment of own beam pattern of satellite antenna. Disclosed communication satellite may comprise antenna having irradiating grid assembly, reflector and linear drive, connected between irradiating grid assembly and reflector. Radiating grid assembly may have a plurality of emitters for transmitting signals associated with a communication service, and the reflector can be configured to reflect signals transmitted between the irradiating grid assembly and one or more target devices. Linear drive can have adjustable length or otherwise provide adjustable position between irradiating grid assembly and reflector. By adjusting the position of the irradiating grid assembly relative to the reflector, the communication satellite can provide a communication service according to a plurality of antenna direct patterns.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of satellite communication systems setting flexibility.
