FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of an aqueous weld-through primer, a kit for preparation thereof, a method of protecting a substrate from corrosion, a substrate coated with a cured weld-through primer, and use of weld-through primer. Water weld-through primer containing from 25 to 80 wt % polysilane sol, obtained by condensation reaction of at least one silane and containing 2- or 3-dimensional network of siloxane [Si-O-Si] bonds and free silanol functional groups, from 0.5 to 15 wt % of compound, selected from at least one of zinc phosphate, zinc oxide, calcium-strontium-zinc phosphosilicate, zirconium hydrophosphate, iron phosphide, calcium zirconate, barium zirconate, zirconium nitride, zinc titanate and iron (II) titanate, from 15 to 40 wt % of at least one anticorrosive pigment containing pure zinc or zinc alloy, 0.5 to 10 wt % of ceramic microspheres.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide a weather-resistant weld-through primer with a very low content of volatile organic substances, which quickly dries, quickly provides water resistance, having excellent weldability with formation of minimum pores, metal splashes during welding, welding fume and having excellent wear resistance, and on which most paints can be directly applied from above.
