FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to coating compositions solidified at room temperature, containing polysiloxane and an acrylic polymer. The proposed coating composition contains alkoxy-functional polysiloxane with a branched chain, with formula R2-O-[Si(R1)2-O]n-R2, where each of R1 is independently chosen from a group consisting of an alkyl, aryl and alkoxy group, with up to six carbon atoms, and OSi(OR3)3 groups, where each of R3 independently represents the same as R1, each R2 is independently chosen from a group consisting of hydrogen and alky and aryl groups, with up to six carbon atoms, and where n is chosen such that, the molecular mass of polysiloxanes lies between 500 and 2000 approximately. The coating composition also contains amino-functional catalyst and an aryl polymer. The aryl polymer does not contain functional groups, which could react with polysiloxane or with the catalyst in the coating composition. The proposed composition can be used for protective coating.
EFFECT: design of a coating composition, allowing for obtaining hardened coatings, with good bulk properties.
