FIELD: waste processing and disposal.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for solid domestic wastes pressing and can be used in passenger vehicles. Compactor comprises housing with retractable container fitted therein and provided with garbage bag attachment elements. Upper part of the housing accommodates vertical pressure press with press platform. Above the container there is a source of ultraviolet radiation in the form of light-emitting diodes with range of spectral radiation from 230 to 290 nm and total radiation power from 20 to 200 mW. Provided is a control unit with contactless sensors of container filling volume. Press drive is made in the form of electric drive connected by means of scissor system of levers with press platform.
EFFECT: as a result, reducing compactor dimensions and improving its sanitary and epidemiological characteristics.
