FIELD: polyurethane coatings.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a polyurethane composition for producing coatings on metal substrates. Composition contains a polyol composition containing a polyol composition based on butylene oxide, and a polyisocyanate composition, containing polyisocyanate and a prepolymer. Polyol composition has an average hydroxyl functionality of 2 to 8 and a hydroxyl-equivalent weight of 150 to 4,000. Polyol composition based on butylene oxide ranges from 10 to 100 % by weight of the total weight of the polyol composition. Isocyanate index of the polyurethane composition ranges from 70 to 120.
EFFECT: obtained polyurethane coating has peeling at cathode polarization of less than 12 mm, as measured in accordance with ASTM G95.
