SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a curable composition for making polyurethane-based materials, as well as to an adhesive and a polyurethane-based coating. Said composition includes a reaction product of an isocyanate component which contains one or more isocyanates, wherein isocyanate index is from 90 to 150, and component capable of reacting with isocyanate, which contains a mixture containing from 5 to 95 wt % of the first polyol based on butylene oxide and from 5 to 95 wt % of the second polyol based on butylene oxide. First butylene oxide-based polyol has number-average molecular weight from 200 to 1000 g/mol and nominal number of hydroxyl groups from 2 to 6. Second butylene oxide-based polyol has a number average molecular weight of more than 1000 and less than 8000 g/mol, and a nominal number of hydroxyl groups from 2 to 4. Ratio of mass percent content of the first polyol based on butylene oxide in the isocyanate-reactive component to the weight percentage of the second polyolane-based butylene oxide in the isocyanate-reactive component is in range of 0.1 to 3.5. Mixture makes at least 50 wt % relative to total weight of polyols in component reactive with isocyanate.

EFFECT: materials obtained using said composition exhibit improved operational characteristics even after exposure to the environment with high humidity and/or after direct and prolonged contact when immersed in water.
