SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. BWP switching method comprises the steps of: obtaining, by the terminal, a first configuration information, wherein the first configuration information includes first resource information and first search space identifier information, information on the first resource is configured to initiate a random access procedure, information on first search space identifier information is configured to detect downlink control channel, first configuration information corresponds to first BWP, and first search space corresponds to second BWP; and switching by the second BWP terminal to the active state or holding the second BWP in the active state without any changes when the first BWP is in the active state, and execution of the random access procedure in the first BWP and the second BWP.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling terminal to switch activated portion of downlink bandwidth (BWP) on BWP downlink, capable of continuously monitoring a downlink control channel when performing a beam-based recovery (BFR) process of a random access channel (RACH).
