FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of reception of a random access response (RAR) message from a network unit.
EFFECT: reduced number of conflicts in downlink resource distribution achieved by transmitting a selected random access preamble to the network unit, wherein the selected preamble is associated with specific downlink (DL) resources which must be used for transmission of the RAR message from the network unit to the wireless apparatus, and receiving the RAR message from the network unit on specific DL resources.
