FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to circular ship propulsors for surface ships and vessels, as well as for underwater vehicles. Annular ship propulsor comprises a housing and a circular ring arranged therein with possibility of rotation with blades fixed on its inner side and made integral with a rotor of a reversible submersible motor, where the rotor is fixed on the outer side of the circular ring, and the stator is attached to the housing. On the outer side the circular ring is made with two bevelled outer edges, in its turn, on the inner side the body is made with two bevelled inner faces. Shape of the inner surface of the body corresponds to the shape of the outer surface of the circular ring. Circular ring is suspended in housing by means of system of magnetic suspensions consisting of permanent magnets with opposite polarity, installed radially, along circumference respectively on bevelled outer edges of circular ring and on bevelled inner edges of housing. In the gaps between permanent magnets of the same polarity, inserts of non-magnetic material are tightly fitted with interference.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of annular ship propulsor, reduced acoustic noise and vibrations.
