SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building. Cargo box for vehicle comprises cover, bottom, lengthwise sides and transverse sides. Cover and bottom are connected by means of cover lifting mechanisms. Lifting mechanisms of cover are located on transverse sides and contain rotary lever mechanisms connecting cover with bottom, and balancing device for balancing forces applied by lifting mechanisms to cover at opening. Balancing device comprises a connecting element hydraulically, mechanically and / or pneumatically connecting the lifting mechanisms of the cover to each other. Connecting element is made with possibility of energy transfer and balancing of forces between cover lifting gear.

EFFECT: higher stability of cargo box cover during opening.
