FIELD: hydro acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydro acoustics, namely to the distributed underwater surveillance systems (DUSS). Said technical result is achieved by the fact that DUSS for providing measurement, further generation and accounting of current vertical sound velocity distribution (VSVD) further includes a stationary VSVD meter in the form of anchored vertical cable rope, on which are arranged: a set of uniform sensors arranged uniformly along the cable rope with interval of 5-10 m, including sensors for temperature, electrical conductivity and water pressure; as well as buoyancy; network hydroacoustic communication modem; control unit; accumulator battery; anchor device.
EFFECT: increased range of detection and accuracy of determination of coordinates and parameters of motion of low-noise underwater objects.
