SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artillery ammunition, in particular, cartridge ammunition consisting of several submunitions intended for destruction of manpower, having armoured jackets, and light-armoured equipment. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the firing fragmentation element of the ground blasting includes a body made in the form of a cylindrical barrel with annular grooves along the outer surface, filled with an explosive substance, a fuse located on the open end side of the shell, wherein thin-walled metal cap is fitted on firing device body on the fuse side with wall thickness of 0.01–0.02 of case diameter and its height being 2/3 of height.

EFFECT: technical result is significant expansion of range of types of soil, in which there is a stable operation of a firing element.
