FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology, genetics, pulmonology, immunology and allergology. Disclosed is a method for detecting genotypes predisposing severe course of polypous rhinosinusitis (RSP) with a risk of recurrence of nasal polyps, including determination of alleles of single nucleotide polymorphisms of gene IL-33 by PCR in real time. Patients with RSP having A-allele rs3939286 and G-allele rs1342326 are most predisposed to severe RSP with risk of recurrence of nasal polyps.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of wide distribution of the method in connection with availability of PCR in real time in technical and economic aspects, simple sampling of biological material, stability of the obtained results and perspective of introducing a personalized approach in treating patients with RSP.
