FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for co-combustion of wastes and semi-dry waste sludge. Proposed device comprises furnace, grate in furnace, distributing unit of wastes made with possibility to distribute wastes along said grate, and distributing unit of wet (semi-dry) waste sludge, made with possibility to transport wet waste sludge to rear arch of furnace and to load it into furnace. Outlet of gaseous combustion products of furnace is connected with waste heat boiler, deoxidizing column and sleeve filter in series through pipeline, so that, passing through recovery boiler, deoxidizer column and sleeve filter, gaseous combustion products through induced exhaust fan get into exhaust pipe and enter atmosphere. Water in the heat recovery boiler is heated to such a degree as to produce steam capable of driving the turbine generator with generation of electric energy. There is a screw conveyor configured to transport wet waste sludge from the waste sludge bunk to the furnace rear arch so that the wet waste sludge is scattered along the grate in the furnace due to gravity.
EFFECT: in the process of combined burning of wastes and semi-dry waste sludge, the device can convert heat energy into electric energy and enables to use waste sludge as a useful resource.
