FIELD: chemical or physical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inhibition of corrosion in air or gases, particularly to carrier materials for fixation of vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors. Composition of primer includes urea, at least one biopolymer—chitosan with degree of deacetylation from 70 % to 95 % and at least one dicarboxylic acid in water solution. Primer is used for preliminary treatment of substrates surfaces, in particular, flat non-metallic substrates, made with possibility of use as carrier materials for vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors, to facilitate subsequent fixation or enabling fixation of vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors from an aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic solution containing said active substances on the surface of the substrate. Vapour-phase corrosion inhibitors are fixed on the surface of the substrate pretreated with said composition.
EFFECT: fixation of inhibitors on solid surfaces with sufficient mechanical and chemical stability and high specific concentrations.
